1st to get Bronze Tracker Finished

Unfortunately as you all know last term when I was in year five I was forth to finish my bronze tracker. However this year the tables have been turned and fortunately for me I was first to finish. So next half term I should be able to either finish my silver tracker or nearly finish it. I look forward to getting my silver pencil again this year on my silver tracker.



Firework Poster

Some days ago there was a firework poster for the year 5/6 in our school and I was chosen for the havering competition.The school gave us a watercolour pencil set.Then 3-4 days after a police officer came into our school and said that I was one of the firework poster competition winners and my prize was two tickets to see Daghenam and Redbridge FC vs Aldershot.I had to go to their football ground and collect the two tickets from the box office.

Olympics Poster Competition

This summer the Romford Recorder ran a competition for local youngsters, through which children would be able to show what the Olympic Games meant to them. Hundreds of school children submitted designs, with the very best going through to the final.

I was chosen for the final... where I won 2nd prize - a £30 voucher for the Liberty Centre. A weightlifter, diver and runner; these were just three of the Olympic athletes that I managed to include in my poster.

My Art Makes Romford Recorder Final

My poster - which was inspired by the Olympic Games - has made it through to the final of the Romford Recorder's competition! With its bright colours, sporting images and imaginative use of London landmarks, it is easy to see why it was chosen to be shortlisted. Have I managed to win a prize? I'll find out soon! The winning entrants will win gift cards for the Liberty Centre in Romford.

Paralympic Athletics On 4th September 2012

In our school for this term, everyone who had 100% attendance for the whole school term was put in a lucky bucket and my name was the first called out. The prizes were Olympic and Paralympic tickets. I was chosen for the Paralympic tickets. I feel very greatly to the school for giving me a once in a lifetime opportunity. Lastly I very much look forward to the event which is on the 4th of September 2012.
